Meet Kyrie

Kyrie is a late-diagnosed AuDHD’er, mum of four and someone who values meaningful connections.

Small talk and running aren't her strengths. Watching the F1, true crime, a spicy book, creativity or anything that helps her understand wellness and human behaviour are her comfort zones.

After years of her mental health being a rollercoaster with PTSD and carrying the shame that came with her lived experience, Kyrie was further diagnosed with ADHD at 34 and Autism at 37.

Her diagnoses gave her hope and a completely new understanding of herself. Suddenly, so many things that had always felt hard and confusing started to make sense. They were still hard, but now she understood why.

Understanding herself also brought grief.

Grief for the years spent believing she just needed to try harder. For wondering what was wrong with her and why she never felt good enough. For the shame. And for the realisation that the old patterns of pushing through and high masking were no longer possible.

And honestly, it felt lonely.

Unmasking meant changing her expectations of herself, letting go of old ways of ‘coping’ and figuring out who she was without constantly trying to fit into a world that wasn’t designed for her.

That experience is a big part of why she created Life Unmasked.

Kyrie understands the exhaustion of masking, the impact of mental health, navigating everyday life and trying to find support that actually work with your brain.

Life Unmasked is a space where neurodivergent women can connect, create, get things done and feel comfortable being themselves - through social connection, experiences, coaching and body doubling.
